We are located 8 miles up the beach from the end of highway 12 and ACCESSIBLE BY 4WD ONLY. Due to the uniqueness of this area we suggest you contact the homeowners prior to booking. Carova Beach is one of the last remaining beaches on the Atlantic Coast that seems to have been lost in time. Come experience Life On The Island. Home to about 200 year round residents and the Corolla Wild Horses, it is a place where everyone knows each other and lives by the changing tides. Watching the wild horses strolling across the sand dunes and stopping to graze on sea oats is just another day in paradise here on Carova. It always fills me with a certain” peace” and “awe” when the dolphins swim up and down the ocean, jumping and splashing. Strolling along the beach to find sand dollars and whelks left from the changing tides is another favorite pass time here on the beach. Be sure to take a dip in that beautiful green Carolina Sea where any worries and stress you may have brought with you are completely washed away. Rise early one morning to watch the sunrise over the ocean, enjoy the brilliant red sunsets over the sound, then look up to see a beautiful star filled Carolina night sky. And as you -lay your head on the pillow at the day’s end, let the ocean sing you to sleep.

About Melissa and Bill Baun

Bill, myself and our children began vacationing on Carova Beach in 1998. It only took 1 vacation to fall in love. Two years later we purchased a lot and 2 years after that we designed and had our home built. Spending time with family and friends while here at our home on Carova is one of our greatest blessings. This is our one and only rental home. It has been a labor of love. Labor and Love being equal. We had never imagined doing anything like this which is why we say it was “Meant To Be”.

We fell in love with Carova Beach the very first time we vacationed there. Nothing had ever felt so right, so we closed our eyes and purchased a lot after a couple years of vacationing on Carova and the rest was …Meant To Be! We are blessed to have the opportunity to share our home with others the way someone once opened their door and allowed us to be a guest at their beautiful beach house.

What makes this House unique

We offer an early 2:30 check in time the day of your arrival. We employ private housekeepers and maintenance persons to care for our home. WiFi, smart tv, direct tv, kitchen with 2 dishwashers, 2 full size refrigerators (top and bottom floors), 3 Master (king) bedrooms, large inground pool, private hot tub, large spacious decks with swings and hammocks, Keurig and drip coffee makers, fully stocked kitchen,
